Wyoming fall horse sale
September 24, 2014
This is our fall horse sale. I am putting up a few of my horses at bottom prices with the hopes to move them. I am trying to include all the pertinent information for each horse. If I don’t mention papers, they don’t have papers. If I don’t say anything about training, they likely don’t have any. These prices are low, and I hope to quickly and easily move these kids. I live in Lovell, WY. If you don’t know where that is, please click here for the map.
To go out of state the horses need a health and a coggins test. These cost about $50 and take a week to complete. At these prices you, as the buyer, will be responsible for these charges, but I will take them to the vet and get them completed for you.
All buyers will need a brand inspection/bill of sale. I, as the seller, will make sure all the paper work is in order for you. But will need some heads up to make sure I can get together with the brand inspector.
These prices are good till October 31.
My phone number is 307-254-3968. I would be more than happy to talk to you about these horse. Please CALL me. Thank you for your understanding and consideration of my time as well as yours.
The Wyoming Fall Horse sale is closed at this time. Give me a call or click through here to see our horses for sale. Also be looking for our Wyoming Christmas Pony sale coming up soon!

Frankie - 2-year-old gelding, sorrel with two fabulous white hind socks! Gentle. I believe he is halter broke, but I haven’t tried it out. We’ve had him on good green pasture all summer and he has put on weight and is ready to get started training this fall with short rides and she can get right out on the trail this spring. He should be 15hh when grown.

You can follow me on Instagram @erinstiverhenson. I am trying to get into the Instagram spirit, but… with little success.
However, if you want to post of a photo of your bull giving you a shMOOOch where else would you post it except right to Instagram.

Dad’s squash are coming on strong at the garden and they make lovely fall photographs.
Here is the link to last year’s grape harvest at Dad’s garden.

Anyone know what kind of flower this is? It’s an interesting little plant that volunteered in the flower pot by my front porch. The leaves look a lot like a sunflower leaf.
This happens to be one of the only plants to survive my diggin’ dog.

My Native Boy had birthday #11! Can you believe it?! Cammy made this fabulous cake for him that looks just like the buckle he won at the Meeteetse Becoming Champions Rodeo Bible camp.
Champion Heeler right here!
And yes, the cake tasted as good as it looked! Thanks Cammy!

His birthday wish? A fancy dinner at a real restaurant, with candles, and more than one fork at a place setting. Yes - you know we did it.
And if you want a Throwback here is the link to last year’s Birthday Powwow! (Can you believe we went from Powwow to fancy restaurant in one year?!)

Pepita is getting halter broke. No - she’s not happy about this!

Prince, the handsome little guy was our last pup for sale out of the Gidget x Chief litter. He headed to his new home this morning, but isn’t he beautiful?
A link to a fun post from last summer, when we took his dad and his grandma down for a summer swim.

This is Fancy, a little gal we kept out of the Gidget x Chief litter. She is my little Cowgirl’s puppy. She is already learning agility and basic obedience. Wait till you see the videos!

So Hollywood finally called. Some production company in Northern Los Angeles rang me up and left a message.
Aryanne, was doing some preliminary research for a documentary on ranches in Wyoming. She came across this web page and thought we were “doing some really cute things.”
I debated calling her back, but in the end curiosity got the better of me and I dialed her up.

Turns out, even though she found my WEB PAGE, she was still hoping that we lived like “the old west.” And Aryanne sounded terribly disappointed when I told her I had not actually participated in any recent range wars or cattle rustling.
(As if I would ever admit to that to a stranger! pft!)
Well there goes my Hollywood dream, huh? Just joking. I am pretty happy and far too busy the way things are!

In other big news … Guess what I crossed off my bucket list?!
Well truthfully it wasn’t ever on my bucket list, but if it were - it would be crossed off now!
I flew a plane!
I didn’t really love it. Remember how I mentioned my fear of heights last post. Yeah it didn’t go away… But I flew a plane! Go me!

Somebody got her first rodeo paycheck! She’s got the fever now!

Remember how I told you nothing terribly exciting happened on our trip to Yellowstone last post? Well guess what.
This is the Steam Boat Geyser in the Norris Geyser Basin. It has large eruptions irregularly and unpredictably. It’s last major eruption was July 2013. We were there Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at about 4:30 p.m.
It erupted 3 hours later. We missed it. But we were so close!

And the last bit of major excitement is this: the puppies are starting to leave for their new homes. It may not be huge news for us here at the barnyard, but for the homes the puppies are headed to - everything is about to change!
I am so blessed to find the wonderful homes I have for my pups this time around and every time! Thank you guys!
