A Silly Selfie Sonnet
January 25, 2015
Ok, so to be sure, this is not a true sonnet, but I liked the way it sounded, and it is my Poem and I shall call it Sonnet…
Have a good laugh! I sure did!

So you take yourself a selfie
To show your mom your hair,
You look back over your shoulder
And you see a silly there!

So you take another selfie
And the silly multiplies,

Till you’re taking silly selfies
Of ALL these goofy guys!

We went to the BLS horse sale this last weekend and had a seriously fun time! Look at this little treasure we picked up! The girls named her Honey and we can’t wait to start playing beauty parlor with her.

Super added bonus - Honey is so gentle and broke to ride! So we got to take her to the arena on Sunday and ride her around! Oh it felt good to be out and going horseback again! This January weather is fabulous!

Addie got to try out her new horse Oh So Beautiful and these two are getting along like old friends! She is feeling Rodeo Bible Camp ready! And good thing too, because I just found out the dates for camp are June 13-16. Click here to see my blog post from last Rodeo Bible Camp. My kids are counting down the days!
Only 140 days to go!
Thank you for stopping by the barnyard for another silly day in my life! I sure appreciate it!
I have one more snow day post I have been waiting to put up, come back soon to see Monster Kitty and our new addition!

Sledding Barnyard Style
January 20, 2016

Like I said last blog, we’ve had some good snow here. And when you have a snow day you better take advantage of it!
Are you girls ready?
Ready!

How about you Aiden?
Yeah, he’s ready too!

And don’t forget Sally!

Hurry up Sally! You’re getting left behind!

“I’m coming!"

She tried riding on the girls’ laps a couple times,

But for the most part she kept up with the sledders pretty well! It was the most exercise she has had… like ever!

“That was fun,” she says, “But next time I want to drive!"

I thought I would try out a gif, see if it plays on my mobile devices.
And here is a YouTube link if you want to see the full video, full sized.

Thank you for joining us here at the Barnyard! While you’re here, have a look at our Mini Aussie and our Mini Aussiedoodle puppies that are available!
Stop by again soon! I have one more snow day blog left up my sleeve!
January snow day!
January 18, 2016

We had a lovely little bit of snow here this weekend. The most we’ve had in a long, long time.
And I can call it a lovely snow, because it didn’t come up to my little tummy, like is did to Sue.
C’mere Sue!

“No, thanks, I’ll just head here under the truck, where there is NO snow. Thanks!"

Aw - C’mere Sue!

"Ok, if you insist!"

Super Puppy!

Sue is our last little Aussiedoodle. She is so pretty, and sassy and smart! She is available. Click here. ** Update - Sue is sold **

Da, dun, daaaa! And here comes Monster Kitty!

Mini Aussie Attack!

We mean Retreat! Mini Aussie Retreat!

For the Love of God! Retreat!

Hank is so sweet.

Drover is also available. Head on over to check them out here. ** Update Drover is sold. **

Thanks for joining us here at the barnyard! Please stop by again soon! You’ll want to learn all about the new barnyard sport of goat sledding!

Kelsey in the Snow
January 13, 2016

I’ve got dog pictures all over my blog! But Kelsey, she is hard to get good photos of!

Because she is so joyful, and always running! And when she is not running she is cuddling!

These are just not ideal conditions for a good photo shoot.

But every-once-in-a-while she will slow down from her joyful cruising...

And I can get a semi-decent photo of her. It just doesn’t happen very often.

So I thought I would dedicate this blog to photos of our Kelsey!

We love you Kelsey!
You can see additional pictures of Kelsey swimming Down at the Cove by clicking here.

Kesley and Rainy where the first two pups we kept back from our original pair of dogs way back when….
Now she is kind of a matriarch on the ranch!
And look how much her puppy Hank looks and acts like her!
There are a couple pups still available from this last litter. Click here.

On behalf of Nuella and I, I would like to say, thank you so much for stopping by this post!
Have a fabulous day!
